"I do fi- wuks"
The first thing Libby said this morning, when I went to get her out of her crib, was "I do fi-wuks today!"
She had a bowl of cereal, and announced, "I done, Mama. I do fi-wuks now?"
I had to explain several times that we'd do some fireworks later in the evening, and that she could stay up late and do fireworks when it got dark outside.
So she just got up from her nap, and asked, "Dark, mama?" LOL, it might be a long afternoon around here.
ETA: Libby was scared scared scared of the fireworks! She liked the little champagne poppers, the smoke bombs and the snappers, but was scared of the snakes. After it got dark, we did our pretty stuff and some of it was loud. She started crying and wanted to go inside. I turned on the Boston Pops fireworks show for her, and she watched that while we played with the ammunition!
